Description

This is my commission drawing for JericaWinters, because she won at Atomic-Sheep's contest Show your hero and this is her character Cocoa Isis.

Something about her: Cocoa Isis a former head chef of a High Lord of ancient Egypt who is also known as Apocalypse, a human-mutant who found alien technology and turned himself into an immortal cyborg. Apocalypse is a powerful villain character created by Marvel Comics. (description written by JericaWinters)

And I did forest again...I think I like to draw nature. And I drew on my sketch again, because I didn't like to draw everything from the beginning. It's easier like that. I blurred background a little, because I thought that it would look better and drawing would have more depth, it looks more realistic like that. :D

Wow, this is great, I love it. I saved this to my folder with images that give me inspiration for my work. The shards flying off her cloak in the shape of birds are fabulous. A perfect fit for a project I'm working on. I think the fantasy elements and mood in this piece are very subtle and pleasantly received. It's got a hint of magic and traces of emotional depth. She's got this delicate vulnerability that's so appealing. Your line work is nice, showing your talent in the details where you've given them and showing your artistic consideration in the areas where you haven't, such as the things that are sharp and the things that are blurred, her foot disappearing beneath the fold of her scarf saving you the trouble of drawing that tricky appendage (maybe you could have put in just a bit more shape in the appearance of the cloth to sell the placement there). Based off this example, I think there's still a lot of growth you can achieve as an artist, but you are well on your way towards it, especially seen through the choices you've made here.
