And here are hardly expected winners from our Paint my OC contest (official contest article). There are 6 winners from two categories, so that means there are twice 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Each winner will get many awesome prizes. There were so many amazing entries that it was really hard to choose winners (winners were chosen by me and my sister). Semi-finalists you were able to see in this journal. All other amazing entries you can check on buttons below of this journal.

First category
Under this category you had to draw/paint one (or more) of our original characters which you found under this folder. All entries which were made for this category you can see here. And the winners for first category are:

1st place
Mai. by Dreamael
Dreamael has represented our character Mai so well on this piece, from the pose, emotion, design... it's extraordinary and well executed piece with so many details in the background and on the character itself. He's very alike like our original character design and that he's placed in the forest is really appropriate. We think that this piece deserves to win 1st place. Congratulations.

2nd place
Kai by VargasNi
Kai's face emotion on this painting is well expressed. He have almost treating look, which really suits to our character personality. All details, like finger accessories, crow, background.. make this piece stunning and unique composition makes it even more eye-catching. We think that this piece deserves to win 2nd place. 3rd place
Raven by Smilika
Our character Desiree looks lovely here. Crows around her are a nice touch which fits to our character personality... especially crows on her head, which looks like they are part of her. Dark atmosphere is really appropriate and it brings out character emotions even more. We think that this piece deserves 3rd place. Second category
Under this category you had to color one (or more) linearts which I made for the contest... here you can find them. All entries which were made for this category you can see here. And the winners for second category are:

1st place
Blind by xilveroxas
xilveroxas painted our lineart very well. All colors looks nice together and they suit to the dark atmosphere. Focus point is especially well executed, that the female character on the right side is lighter (in the light) than the male character on the left, because of that whole piece looks dramatic. Wings in the background are a nice touch, so it feels more connected with the birds which are on the drawing also. We think that this piece deserves to win 1st place. Congratulations.

2nd place
This is beautifully colored. The night and cold scene is well captured and all colors are appropriate. Even that male character is painted with warmer color palette is very eye-catching and it's complementary with all cold tones around him. Background and details are also well executed. We think that this piece deserves to win 2nd place. Congratulations. Prizes which 2nd winner will get you can check on contest article here. 

3rd place
Forest Fantasy by IvannaMatilla
Color palette on this piece is really lovely. Yellow tones make it dreamy and it adds fantasy atmosphere. Character is well colored, also the tree and the background... especially the bottom of the background adds foggy feeling, so it looks like that character is high above the ground. We think that this piece deserves 3rd place. Waaa why I didn't see this contest!!? Amazing one and beautiful results too!! I envy-in a good way- dreamael because of the great skills and because of the prize he/she win...anyway congrats to everyone!!
