For this drawing I used totally different technique...all my colored drawings I draw from the beginning with colors, but this one I draw gray and at the end I colored it.
I started to draw this drawing when I was on vacations and I drew it on the laptop. That's why this drawing is big 5000 px...I didn't want that Photoshop stop responding when I save my drawing. I didn't have ref photos and I never draw planes in my life, so it was pretty hard to draw this for me. But I wanted to draw something different...
Something about him: His name is Rhys and he's young and nice boy. He had pretty hard childhood, because his family was poor and because of that he didn't had friends. One day in his city has started a war and they destroyed everything... he wanted to revenge. He start to collect people who want justice and they win. Later he was an hero because he was the only one who was brave to do that.
Other info: He have short brown hair and blue eyes and he likes to dress simple, but still a little bit stylish. He likes scarfs.
Adobe Photoshop CS 5 tablet Genius G-pen M609X original size is 3480 x 5000 px I had 33 layers...with sketch and colored drawing I draw this 15 hours
I think the most amazing part of this is the impact. I feel like I can see him stuck in the middle of the idea of war--not in the war himself, but maybe his family or friends are. I love the texture on his jacket! The planes in the background really finish the story. I really don't understand what's above his head (sorry) though it has beautiful color theme and texture. You are VERY talented and you have an intense vision. I'd love to see more of your intense works. I guess you want something to work on so the only real problem I see is I feel that his mood is more of a pissed-off boredness instead of a scared/sadness. Still very amazing and deff. going to favorite. (My bff loves it too )
This character looks strangely familiar... can't tell you where from though XD
Good Points: You defiantly have a strong and persistent style that your comfortable with and it really shines through in ur art work.
I love the fact that its not just a character, but in an environment that you've taken just as much care in as well.
Bad Points: Something is missing. Perhaps something in the midground like a old style Victorian lamp post (random idea) but it would add something between the far off background and the foreground that is at the same level as the character
Overall: Awesome piece. Deffo would like to see more
Hahaha...yea, it is. And you're not the first who noticed that. This drawing is so old and it was my second anime drawing...I didn't want to fix that, cuz then I would have to draw background too...I rather draw new drawings
