Finally something different from me. never saw that I did more than 2 characters in one drawing. And now I drew 5 characters (6, if I count statue too ;P). This drawing I started to draw in August (Breaker) and I finished it in, I drew it 3 months. And I tried to draw clouds in Photoshop, like that they were drawn in Paint Tool SAI. I couldn't open that big drawing in SAI, so I had to draw clouds in Photoshop. It was hard to imitate brushes, but it was fun. :la:

These are my characters (from left to right) Angela Eanor, Breaker Loren, Keith Loren, Faith (Loren) and Ren Shiar. They are from same series "Cryptic" and if you want to read their story then you can visit our blog on our website here. The text here was a little bit long, so I decided to post their story there. I think it's better like that...

Whole painting was drawn from beginning with colors...and I didn't use blue for a long time (night environment drawing doesn't count ;P). And this drawing was drawn in 6 parts. I drew each character separated and background separated. At the and I saved characters as .png (without background) and I inserted then in the background. If I wouldn't do that, then I would have to many layers at the end. :D

Tools I used and other stuff

:bulletblue: Adobe Photoshop CS5
:bulletblue: Paint Tool SAI (only for Keith...finishing touches)
:bulletblue: tablets Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch Special Edititon M and Genius G-pen M609X
:bulletblue: original size is 5970 x 9199 px
:bulletblue: I had 259 layers + 21 layers (edit)
:bulletblue: I drew it 48.5 hours + 2 hours (edit)

:bulletblue: Here you can see screen shot of this drawing zoomed on 100%, so you can see how big it is.
:bulletblue: Here you can see details from this drawing.

:bulletblue: +CALENDAR 2013+ you can order and see preview in the shop here (you can see previews on the left thumb also). Characters from this image you can find inside the calendar.

I hope you like it and comments are welcome

EDIT: Well, I edited whole drawing... I didn't like colors from drawing before, so I changed whole drawing into black and white and I added colors on another layer. I added more light, stars in background...and many other details. I drew texture with brush over whole piece, because before it looked a little soft for me ;P You can compare how it looked before from screen shots which I posted...links you can find above. I hope you like it

i suck in Photoshop .. i use Sai ..

I use Sai sometimes too. But I have too big drawings, so Sai can't open them, so I mostly try to copy brushes from Sai ;P I drew the middle character (on this drawing) with Sai (finishing touches), for clouds I just watched how Sai brushes acts, so I copied that style with Photoshop. It's pretty easy to use Photoshop... if you experiment a little, then you'll quickly find out which tool do what. :la:
