This drawing is very old...I started to drew her in June and I didn't drew her since now. And only because of colors which were before. This drawing doesn't look the same at all like my WIP drawing from beginning. I started to drew her with colors, but then (because I didn't liked those colors) I just changed it in black and white, and I colored on overlay layer. And like that I finished her in one hour.
And you can see that I add feathers over black outline...like that it looks more interesting. And maybe you're wondering why I add this title "C R O W"...if you look well in the right corner you'll see between her dress and background outline of crow.
Something about her: Her name is Desiree and when she was a child she liked to talk with animals, mostly crows. And suddenly she saw that one crow responded her...she was so happy and she told to everyone that she can talk with animals. Of course, everyone thought that she is insane.
Other info: She have long dark brown hair and grey eyes. Her makeup is a little different and bigger (around her eyes) and she likes to wear dresses.

C R O W is a beautiful portrait of the artist's own character; desiree. The lighting's peacefully subtle and the image is drawn so smoothly, with small hints of colour and detail which trully bring the character to life. The clothes appear as though they're almost floating- as if she could be peacefully lay, surrounded by water. Her expression is so somber, as though she's reminiscing about her past experiences speaking with the crows- the feathers linking nicely to the artist's description of the character's story.
I particularly like that the artist didn't stop editing the image until they were trully pleased with it.
