A little different drawing this time... I don't draw women very often, so it was pretty hard to draw this. Mostly I draw men, so I didn't know to draw women face anymore. But now I remember. At first I draw traditional sketch and then I colored it in Photoshop...I didn't have whole concept in my head. I never have it...I just draw and what comes - comes.Adobe Photoshop CS4
tablet Genius G-pen F610
original size is 7000 x 4167 px
I had 43 layers...with sketch
And I draw this 19 hours
This is entry for ~Iwien's Water contest.
I hope you like it and comments are welcome.

Vision: I love this, the dynamic angles, the color scheme and eye grabbing contrast, and even the motifs (the lilipads and the salmon... at least I think they're salmon haha) that you used to subtle-y frame her figure as she seems half submerged.
Originality: The idea is very intriguing and isn't something that you see all that often, I really enjoyed the image as a whole and found it to be a very original composition.
Technique: What can I really say here? haha
The use of cold and warm colors really balances the image asymmetrically since it draws your eyes from the bright reds and oranges on the right, to the blues, purples and greens on the left. The original sketch must have been special because her anatomy seems damn near spot on.
I almost get this feeling as if she were the personification of a water lily due to the motion of the line work in her dress which resembles flower petals and how they bloom (at least in my eyes).
Impact: This truly inspiring and makes me wish even harder that I had a tablet of my own so that I can finally practice with digital art and possibly be as good as you
Keep up the excellent work friend
You are talented, for sure, and this piece does nothing but emphasise this. I've seen your older works as well, and I can say, without any doubt, that your skills have greatly developed, as well as your imagination.
I like the composition the most in this one. I love how you framed the girl with those fish, it was definitely a great idea.
The colours go well very well, I like the cold tones.
All in all, I fail at critiquing this. It's just perfect, I think your works are wonderful. I could say a lot more, but I'll stop here. Well-done!
